I completed my PhD, in december 2024, after three years of research at CESBIO in Toulouse. My dissertation, titled “Paving the Way Towards Foundation Models Exploiting Satellite Image Time Series for Land Surface Monitoring”, is available online https://theses.hal.science/tel-05053725v1/file/2024TLSES261.pdf. During my PhD, supervised by Silvia Valero and Jordi Inglada, we proposed novel self-supervised pre-training tasks and relevant deep neural network architectures for Satellite Image Time Series (SITS). Our research outputs, including code and datasets, are openly available.

Since April 2025, I’ve been a postdoctoral researcher at the Borelli Centre image processing team, where I work on change detection in multimodal SITS.
